Reiki: (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese hands-on healing therapy that uses spiritually guided energies to bring balance and harmony to your body.  It’s practiced at health spas, holistic centers, and together with conventional medicine, Reiki is also offered in many hospitals where patients and medical practitioners agree that Reiki helps alleviate some of the symptoms associated with various dis-eases.   Reiki can be used for health maintenance or as a compliment (not a replacement) to medical treatment. This beautiful unconditional love healing energy is channeled to you through the hands of the practitioner, and then flows wherever it is needed.  You experience deep relaxation, stress relief and an overall sense of well being as the energies facilitate your body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Your Healing Session: Your session includes a pre and post consultation so you can discuss your questions or concerns.   With you fully clothed on a massage table, you’re guided into a light meditative state so you can relax into your healing experience.   Because we are all unique, healing sessions may vary.  Some people report feeling a deep warmth, or a tingling sensation, while others report seeing beautiful images or colors. You’re invited to simply be open to your experience and notice what happens. You'll receive the healing that is meant for you with the energies staying with you long after your session is over.

Distance Healing: Proximity to a practitioner is not a requirement for energy healing. Quantum mechanics explains that frequencies actually become stronger with distance. Once you're able to overcome any initial doubt about distance healing you may be quite amazed to realize how effective it is. Sessions can be conveniently scheduled, for you or someone else, by arranging a specific start time over the phone. After the session or the next day you have an opportunity to discuss your experience.   

Animals, like people, can also benefit from energy healing. Any animal who receives regular grooming from a human will more than likely be receptive to being touched for Reiki.  Cats and dogs, in particular, are quite receptive to  Reiki energy and tend to gravitate toward it naturally.
